Somthing silly

Want something funny to do? Go to Urbandictionary.com and look up your name. here's what I came up with...and yes my first name is actually Sandra.

A strong name for a strong woman--A Sandra, especially one born under the star (sun) sign of Aries tends to be intelligent, witty, extremely open, honest & passionate and will do whatever it takes to uphold her morals. While these are extremely admirable traits, they also mean that they should never be crossed. Hope you are paying attention, you... See More have been warned!!
On the flip-side, if you do the right thing (and why wouldn't you?) a Sandra will go out of her way to make your life beautiful.
While fiercely independent, a Sandra has both a strong sense of community and family and will do whatever it takes (regardless of personal cost) to defend and protect those that she cares about.
Do yourself a favour – find a Sandra; stocks are limited and they are (rightly so) in high demand.
Need a friend? Look no further than Sandra

Now wouldn't this make a great scrapbook layout? toss in a picture or two of yourself, some great background papers a couple of embellishments and there you have it!

You passed 8th grade Geography

Another little gem snagged from Susan's blog...what a crack up! I better be good at this, as our son Andrew won first place in the National Geographic Bee at his middle school while in the 8th grade and went on to the States Finals....all without studying! And our Hannah was in the top 3 finalists for the 7th grade - again without studying. Can you imagine what my kids could have done IF they had actually studied for this competition? LOL!

How are your manners?

You Have Good Manners 90% of the Time

You manners are perfect. You always carry yourself with class.

You know how to be considerate toward everyone - even if they aren't considerate to you.

Blog challenge

I got this from Susan's blog and it cracked me up so I took the quiz...here's my answer

You Have Not Been Ruined by American Culture

You're nothing like the typical American. In fact, you may not be American at all.

You have a broad view of the world, and you're very well informed.

And while you certainly have been influenced by American culture (who hasn't?), it's not your primary influence.

You take a more global philosophy with your politics, taste, and life. And you're always expanding and revising what you believe.

What kind of pie are you?

You Are Pumpkin Pie

You're the perfect combo of uniqueness and quality.

You're able to relate to many types of people with many different tastes.

But you're by no means generic or ordinary.

In fact, you're one of the most original people around.

Those who like you are looking for something (someone!) special.

You tend confuse people when they first meet you. You're not as complicated as you seem.

Even though you have a lot of spice and flavor to you, you're never overpowering.

You are a calm and comforting force in people's lives.

What dessert are you most like?

You Are Cheesecake

Rich, sweet, and simply perfect.

You're not boring - you're just the best!

Being that I make gourmet Cheesecakes this answer really cracks me up!

Blog Challenge - List 5 things you are thankful for today

Please post a link to your blog when replying

* The Lord- for I truly feel blessed each and every day!

*My husband- he is a such a treasure!

*The Air Force- yes I'm still thankful for my husband having chosen a career in the Air Force. Because of him and his career choice, I've been able to meet and make many wonderful friends out here in South Dakota.

*Quilting- I've found another creative outlet that has me singing songs of praise! And the other thing... the wonderful ladies that I've met through quilting- I can't say enough nice things about them!

* Flowers- I'm planning my flower garden and I've bought several plants for it. The blossoms are in every color I could find :-) When I'm done it'll be a rainbow of color in flowers! I can hardly wait for the scent of the Gardenias and Lilacs when they are in bloom!
