My heart aches for my boy- having to say good bye to his two best friends has got to be tough. I know how much he wanted to spend his senior year in South Dakota and graduated with everyone he's known for the past 6 years. But this is our life...a life spent in duty to our country. He'll see them again, who knows, I may arrange for us to take a trip out to South Dakota in a few months as I find that I'm missing my friends from there too.
I'll write more later as I've got to get ready and then drive to London Heathrow airport so the boys can go catch their flight home to America.
