My Scrapbook Nook

As I get ready for yet another day of running with scissors... I spent a leisurely morning reading the news online...no TV news for me if I can help it. I'm wondering how Barbara (my best friend from childhood) is doing. You see, she lives in Santa Barbara and I've been reading about all of the evacuations going on out there. Those wild fires are seriously scary...the winds can whip up very quickly and before you know it, your home is surrounded by fire. My thoughts and prayers are with her today...I hope to hear from her soon.
