reality hits home

I suppose one can say that for our son it never really seemed real to him that we are indeed moving, that is until he came home from school today and saw the "for sale" sign that our realtor stuck into the lawn. He sat out there in his car for a good 15 minutes, then I went out there and told him to come inside. Our son is obviously upset about that sign being in the yard. I'm sure that in his 16 year old mind he's convinced that we're trying to ruin his life. He's still trying to find a way to be able to stay here- I don't think that he quite understands that this family stays together no matter where the military sends us. I couldn't imagine having our son stay behind just so he can have one more year of high school here when an opportunity to study abroad for a year, to travel all over England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland is right there in front of us. There's no way I'm about to let him miss out on living in England, it's a chance of a lifetime kind of thing!

Please keep us in your prayers as we try to convince our son Andrew that our move to England is a wonderful once in a lifetime opportunity.
