Sheep Street

So our shopping trip to the Bicester outlet mall was a bust...Sheep Street shopping on the other hand, now that's where it's at! From butcher shops to bakeries. clothing stores, charity shops (thrift shops run by various charity organizations) and more! Tons of sales and realistic prices too! There are jewelery stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, and even a hallmark greeting card store (a bit of trivia here folks-Hallmark originated in England). Sporting goods, kids toys, dry cleaners, there's a candy shop a yarn and needlework shop (this place is especially cool), an alterations shop for those that need to hire the talents of a seamstress, an appliance store, florist shops, book store, Realtors, attorneys, dentists, eye doctor/optical shops...I'm telling you everything you need is right there! Oh and lets talk about restaurants- oh there are more types more than you can shake a stick at! And on Friday there's this wonderful outdoor market going on.

It was raining and at times it was really pouring down hard during our shopping trip. Did we let that ruin the trip for us us? Not in the least! We enjoyed every moment of our shopping experience! It was even better once I introduced Hannah to a bakery/tea shop. We dined on these delightful potato and cheese pasties which would melt in your mouth, they were delicious! Later on we went back and bought some pastries and we brought back a chocolate covered eclair for Andrew-he has no idea how close his sister and mother came to eating it, LOL! Oh the temptation!

There were loads of people shopping there while we were there but we didn't come across anyone being nasty or rude to any sales clerks. We saw loads of people in the shops, everyone was polite, greeted you when you entered the shop- even in the wet rain, it was a very pleasant shopping experience to say the least!

Between the Bicester Garden Center and the shops there and Sheep Street and the shops there- I'm quite content! Yup I'll let the tourists shop at the outlet stores and I'll stick to the places where the locals shop ;-)
