my children will be done with school for the summer and I can get started on seriously getting things together for the move! I now feel as if the clock has started ticking!

I would be desperate because they were no longer out of my hair!! I do like to make my plans and get stuff organised on my own... that way I don't have to stop and make meals or coffee... ;)
Gosh, tick tock. Good luck with it all Sandie. You sound incredibly well prepared and totally able to handle it all. My beloved parents eat off their Portmeirion every day too - as you say, a daily pleasure. I htink the 'chase' and geting stuff at good prie etc is part of the pleasureof the final ownership.
Hope you had a FAB day in Hill City, much deserved.
Reading comments like both of yours today makes me eager to meet you all in person!
I had the most wonderful day with my girlfriends! We ate lunch at the best place in town and we did some clothing shopping...it's was delightful!
