A safe place
Last night was rather interesting to say the least... Around 9:30 last night our door bell rang, outside on the front porch was one of our sons friends and a policeman. Apparently there was some sort of altercation at this young mans house and the police took him away from "the situation" to spend the night at a "safe place", so the young man instructed the policeman to come here to our house. Of course we took the boy in without question. He never said a word about what went on but was obviously appreciative that we took him in. This morning at 6:30 there was a knock on the door and it was a girl here to pick the young man up- he needed to be at school early he said. Nothing more was said about what went on last night never the less, it's left my husband and I with a lot of questions. I'm thankful to the Lord that this child/young man was drawn to us and that our home is somewhere where he feels safe. I let him know before he left that he is welcome here at any time and that our doors will always be open to him. Please pray for this young man and that issues in his home will be resolved without violence of any kind.
