Have you ever...
Seen a crafting item (be it a tool, fabric or patterned paper) in a magazine and think "Wow that looks nice I'd like to get it" and then see it in person and say "Wow, that's not at all what I expected it to look like or be like? I'm going through that with a fabric line...it's not at all of how I expected it to look. Oh well, I'm glad that I got to see it up close and personal and that I can save my $$ for something else.

I've done this a lot with scrapbook papers, and have learned my lesson. LOVE the quilt Sandie it's gorgeous and you know, I'm so happy that the thought of rain may be your spring herald. Forever onward!
Oh my gosh most DEFINITELY! I've also come across this same problem with men in my past (lol). All kidding aside, it's difficult to buy something without seeing it (or trying it) in person first. I've bought things online, ended up not liking them, but it would cost too much to return with shipping so I end up either giving it away or letting it sit in my house taking up space I don't have to spare lol One additional note, I've realized that colors are never the same online compared to real life. I love your posts and read them as often as I can, love, love, love how consistent you are with your blog! I hope to be like you someday :)
Definitely! Sometimes I'll fall in with a paper line but when I see it in person, the quality is not what I expected!
I've been this way for years with scrapbooking paper. I'll order it, it comes in and there it sits...it just wasn't what I was expecting (quality or color). I've been getting desperate with finding certain lines of fabric and now there are only a handful of companies that I will buy from because I know that they sell quality merchandise. I'm the same way when it comes to card stock, it's either Stampin Up or it's Bazzill.
