a day in the life...

...Of a paper crafter. I don't think that I'm in my element unless I have at least 3 different or more projects going on. Currently I'm working on a chipboard tissue box, sketches for some layouts AND am finishing up going through and sorting embellishments to keep and give away.

The first thing I started working on...I have had this stack of 30 plus layouts that needed to be put into their respective albums- for MONTHS. I finally got myself motivated to put them away and well, that took me a lot longer than I had expected.

Notes to myself...Before I know it, moving time will be here. I want to have everything ready for packing. That means putting ALL of my scrapbooking things in their proper places and keeping them there. From brads & eyelets and other kinds of embellishments to cardstock and patterned paper, to ink pads and stamps.

You see, I have this bad little habit of not always immediately putting things back in their proper places. I have a basket that stamps, ink pads and embellishments go into and then I wait until it's full then I start to put them away. Right now I have a basket full of stamps and crafting tools to go through, sort and put into their proper places. I try my hardest to keep the entire house ready for showing at a moments notice, but I also feel that this is making me a bit neurotic.

I know JUST what you mean Sandie. My plan is to put away as I go, but somehow it never happens and I end up working in a tiny corner of my desk!

Good luck with packing all that stash! That is going to be one BIG job.

Sounds like you keep yourself busy. I find I also get neurotic once the house is tidy!! I just want to try and keep it that way so I don't have to blitz it again- somehow it never works out that way though.

I hate having to be on top of my teenagers all of the time. For once I wish that they'd pick up thier dirty clothes and tidy up their bathroom.
