Shopping here was unlike shopping anywhere else! The ever classic and beautiful blue and white Dutch pottery could be bought here, t-shirts galore, knock off designer handbags, knick knacks of every kind, electronics (basically digital cameras & camcorders) and of course...jewelry, Rum and Cuban cigars (the real deal).
The streets were very narrow, wide enough for only 1 car to drive on and paved with bricks. There were shops galore on this part of the island and it can be safe to say that there was something for everyone.
The one thing that bothered myself and Hannah were the vast numbers of local women getting in our faces asking us if we wanted out hair braided...just say NO! They would jump out of side street alleys holding nasty looking dirty combs, "braids for your daughter Lady?" Eeew, as if! Other than that going on, this place was pretty picturesque.
