Signs of Spring

It is most certain that even with the freak snow storm Spring has arrived. Yesterday as we are checking out the situation with our lawn (the parts that don't have snow on them) noticing that the grass really has grown quite long in some areas due to the extra water it's received lately. As my family is checking out one particularly tall area of grass our son notices something in the middle goes to check it out and discoverers a nest of baby bunnies. There they are, a set of quadruplets probably born within the last 24 hours. We'll have to do what we did last year, put up a flag very near the nesting area so we don't walk on or over the nest or worse yet mow over them (eek). I'll get some pictures later on today when the sun is shining bright and there's less risk of the babies or "Niblets" (as they are now being called) catching a chill.

Hi Sandie!
How exciting - baby bunnies! We use to have a nest of them in our woods but never see them much anymore. Now we mostly have armadillos out there....lol I LOVE your big Lowe's Bunny - he's adorable!
Thanks so much for visiting me!

Enjoy your day!
Kathy
